Over time thatch builds up in lawns. This is a layer of dead grass, moss and other material. Regularly removing this layer will improve the health of any lawn, encouraging multiple shoots from individual plant and allowing more air to reach the grass roots.
With a powerful heavy duty scarifier within our fleet of machinery we are able to tackle lawns of all sizes. We will also offer to mow your lawn at the end of this process so as to leave it as tidy as possible.
We will provide the option of leaving the scarified material on site to compost down in a designated compost area or to remove for you, all will be detailed in your itemised quote.
Scarify your lawn when it’s not soaking wet.
Ideally your lawn should be scarified once or twice a year.
You need to wait at least a year before scarifying a new lawn.
